Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 July 2026. By installing the Mergent GitHub App or using mergent.polsia.app you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Mergent (“we”, “us”) provides an autonomous pull-request review and auto-merge service delivered as a GitHub App and as a managed workspace at mergent.polsia.app. The App listens to repository events you authorize during install, generates structured code reviews, computes a merge-risk score, and (where configured and permitted) auto-merges pull requests that pass your team’s policy.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the credentials used to access mergent.polsia.app and for any activity under your GitHub installation. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source of the underlying model; (b) use Mergent to harass, defame, or discriminate; (c) upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or malicious; (d) attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse the audit log, or interfere with the service; (e) use the service to review repositories for which you do not have the rights to grant us access.
4. Plans and billing
GitHub Marketplace installs are billed by GitHub according to their terms. Your Marketplace subscription is governed by GitHub’s Marketplace ToS in addition to this document; in case of conflict on billing, GitHub’s terms control.
Direct subscriptions on mergent.polsia.app are billed by LemonSqueezy. Plans are flat-rate per organization, charged monthly in advance; the Starter plan is $29 per month and the Team plan is $79 per month. Enterprise pricing is agreed in a separate order form. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated; downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Either party may cancel with 30 days’ notice.
5. Auto-merge and policy
Auto-merge is off by default (dry-run). When you enable it, Mergent merges only pull requests that satisfy every guard configured in your policy (risk-score threshold, CI pass, blocked-path exclusions, required reviewers). You retain final authority: high-risk PRs are never auto-merged and the dashboard records every decision, merged or skipped.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Mergent service, the underlying models, and our branding. You retain all rights in your code and your repositories. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process the data of your installation solely to operate the service for you.
7. Termination
You may uninstall the GitHub App at any time from your GitHub settings; uninstall ends your Marketplace subscription. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. On termination we retain billing records as required by law and delete other installation data per our privacy policy.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that reviews are exhaustive, error-free, or a substitute for human review of high-risk changes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.
10. Changes
Material changes are announced at least 14 days in advance by email and an in-app banner; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
